A food basket

Legacy and inheritance
With a legacy or inheritance in favour of the Swiss Friends of Sethule Orphans' Trust, you can provide long-term support for orphans and families in rural Zimbabwe and give hope and security to future generations of children.
The law prescribes a compulsory share for your closest family members. You can freely dispose of the assets that exceed this portion. This allows you to benefit organisations like ours as co-heirs.
You can benefit us with a legacy or bequest, be it a cash donation or a donation in kind. In this case, the legatee does not become a member of the community of heirs, but is only entitled to the bequeathed assets. The compulsory portions must also be observed in this variant.
Before you set up a legacy or inheritance, it is worthwhile to examine your individual financial situation carefully. For more information, it is best to contact your lawyer.
Our association is recognised as a non-profit organisation and is therefore exempt from inheritance and gift taxes.
Why do I donate?
Véronique Stoupa, Dr. med. dent.
“The aid organisation Sethule Orphans’ Trust looks for foster parents for orphans, enabling the children to receive an education and also provides long term support for the new families. With my donation to the Swiss Friends of Sethule Orphans’ Trust, I support these projects and can thus offer children in need a better perspective.“
Bernhard Kobel, Engineer HTL
“By donating to the Swiss Friends of Sethule Orphans' Trust, I help directly without having to help finance administrative and marketing costs. In this way, I enable orphans in the southwest of Zimbabwe, one of the poorest countries in Africa, to receive an education and give them a perspective for the future.“
